Rosemarie Esposito Proto, 91, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 30th, 2023, at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Proto, Sr. Rosemarie was born in New Haven on August 30th, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Albert and Rose Esposito. She had worked as a Bridal Consultant for the former Harold’s Formalwear, New Haven and later in facilities at Yale University for many years. Rosemarie enjoyed cooking, taking frequent trips to Florida, was an avid shopper and a member of the Annex Y.M.A. Ladies Auxiliary. Mother of Robert (Robyn) Proto and Frank (Ann) Proto. Grandmother of Robert (Sarah) Proto, Jr. and Nicole (Michael) Papamichael. Great-Grandmother of Bobby and Dominic Proto, Andrew and Lily Papamichael. Sister of Carol Esposito, Patricia Tripp and the late Albert Esposito, Jr. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Robert, Frankie and families- My deepest sympathy on the loss of Auntie Rosie. I have such great memories of her from taking me to the beach as a kid to spending time at your house on a Sunday enjoying her fabulous cooking. May all your memories bring you all some comfort during this difficult time.
