Rosemary DeAngelo Bartozzi, 83, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2018, at the Yale New Haven Hospital with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 49 years to John P. Bartozzi. Rosemary was born in New Haven on February 14, 1934 and was the daughter of the late James Vincent and Mary Snow Montepiano DeAngelo. She worked as a food service manager for the North Haven School System for 11 years until her retirement. Rosemary enjoyed traveling, going to the casino and spending time with her grandchildren. Mother of Diane and Cheryl Bartozzi. Grandmother of Nicholas Bartozzi, Tyler Gavin and Haylee Voigt. Sister of Grace DesRoches, Geraldine, Anthony and James DeAngelo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Friday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 pm.
