Ruby C. Welton Pacapelli, 97, of East Granby, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Meadow Brook of Granby with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Carl Pacapelli for over 50 years. Ruby was born in West Haven on July 15, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Walter P. and Gladys D. Ehehalt Welton. She worked as a Supervisor for the former Chesebrough-Ponds Company for many years until her retirement. Mother of Gladys (Glen) Rogers, Dorothy (Don) Gould, Ruby (Earl) Ransom, Carl (Susan) Pacapelli, Eugene (Lynda) Pacapelli, Judith Bellizzi, Gail DiReinzo and Glenn (Kathy) Pacapelli. Also survived by 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday at 12 noon. Family and friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service. Sunday nights growing up Aunt Ruby and Uncle Carl would come to visit and bring donuts. We enjoyed many laughs over coffee with them. We are so sorry for your loss. Rest in peace Aunt Ruby.
