Sally Lang Cavallaro, 65, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford with her family by her side. Sally was born in Clinton, Iowa on January 9, 1952; daughter of Margie Boman Lang and the late Charles Lang and had worked for the former Stone Insurance of Meriden. One of Sally’s greatest joys was vacationing in Narragansett, RI by their beautiful ocean. Mother of Peter and Dawn Starkes. Sister of Pat and Becky Lang, her twin Sandy Dembski and her husband Ralph, Janie Lang, Linda and Bob Bankowski. Also survived by her long time loving companion, her dog Kalie.
The visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue on Friday morning at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 45 Ash Street, East Hartford, CT 06108.
We will miss Sally in so many ways. I’ll definitely miss her witty observations and comments at family gatherings. Rest in peace.

I am very sorry for your loss. Although I did not know your loved one personally, I hope knowing that they are in our loving heavenly Father’s memory will bring your family comfort during this difficult time. Very soon now we can look forward to God’s promise at a Revelation 21:4: “… Death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore, the former thing gave passed away.”
