Salvatore J. Laudicina, 83, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16th, 2016 at the Quinnipiac Valley Center, Wallingford. Salvatore was born in New Haven on July 28, 1933; son of the late Antonio and Vita Benevegnia Laudicina and was a member of the North Haven Sons & Daughters of Italy. Uncle of Philomena Senger. Great Uncle of Helena (Michael) O’Connell and Charles (Maureen) Senger. Great-Great uncle of Charles A. , Bella and Keegan Senger. Cousin to Dottie & Vito Laudicina and the Novarro family. Also survived by many other nieces & nephews. Predeceased by a sister Josephine Vitale, and brothers Anthony and Vito Laudicina.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Tuesday morning at 10:00. Family and friends may call from 9:00 am until time of service. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
We pray for Sal’s eternal rest with our Savior and that the Holy Spirit comforts his family in their time of mourning.
I am from North Haven Sons & Daughters of Italian, Sal, was a great addition to our organization. I remember him helping at our festival, & coming to some of our Dishingished Citizen Dinners. When he would leave the meetings he would wave & say “Goid night everyone”. We will miss him. Cheryl
