Sandra L. Williams, 68, of Meriden, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was the beloved companion of 35 years to Antonio Varriale. Sandra was born in New Haven on December 1, 1948 and was the daughter of Nancy Pellegrino Puccino and the late Peter Talarczyk. Mother of Timothy (Maria) Williams and Todd Williams. Grandmother of Jennifer and Paloma Williams. Sister of Peter (Claudia) Talarczyk, Fred (Linda) Bemis, Nancy Vitale, Sharon (Todd) Bjornberg, Thomas Bemis, Michael (AnnaMarie) Puccino, Richard (Tai) Puccino, Joseph Puccino, Robert (Theresa) Puccino and Anthony (Roseann) Puccino.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Michael Church, 29 Wooster Place, New Haven on Thursday morning at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Sandy & I went to Lyman Hall High school, we sat on the bus together. I grew up on Parker Farms Rd & she on Algonquin Drive…we were good friends all through school..we parted ways after that, but recently ran into each other at Shop Rite & reconnected…we had such fun reminising…good friends for life. I’m so saddened by her death, she was a beautiful person inside & out. My deepest sympathy to her husband, children & family.
