Scott David LaBaire, 62, of Meriden passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, January 15th, 2024. Born in Bridgeport on August 7, 1961, son of Eileen Conklin LaBaire Traficante and her husband Chas and Theodore LaBaire. An amazing carpenter, Scott had worked for the Sterling Village Association. He had the biggest heart, was fun and loving in nature with a great sense of humor. Scott was dedicated to his family; he was their protector, loved them all and Jesus unconditionally. He was married to Elizabeth (Betsy) LaBaire for over 30 years and together they had five children, Jessica Sechoka and her husband Matthew, Andrew LaBaire, Kathryn LaBaire, Timothy LaBaire and Breonna LaBaire, three grandchildren Mya Sechoka, Theodore and Oliver Entwisle. Also survived by his sister Dawn Mattei and her husband David, three brothers Craig LaBaire, Joe LaBaire and his wife Dawn, Chris LaBaire and his wife Lisa, and many nieces and nephews.
The visiting hours will be Friday, January 26th from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A parlor service will be conducted at 12:30. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
