Shirley M. LeClair Viens, 84, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Elim Park, Cheshire. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman A. Viens. Shirley was born in Danielson, CT on January 28, 1933; daughter of the late Earl LeClair, Sr. and Doris M. Russell LeClair. Mother of Mark N. Viens of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Michael E. Viens (Gayle) of Wallingford, Carla M. Burgess (Kenneth) of Milford and Carl F. Viens of North Haven. Sister of Veronica Tetreault of Plainfield, CT and the late Earl LeClair, Jr. and Theresa St. George. Also survived by her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue on Saturday morning, February 25th at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal services immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice/Wallingford, 110 Barnes Road, Wallingford, CT 06492 or to Elim Park, 140 Cook Hill Road, Cheshire, CT 06410. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements.

breakfast group that went to Scotty’s Restaurant when it was on Broadway in 1987-8. I cherish my sweet memories of Shirley and the early morning swimming at the pool. Rest in peace my friend.
