Sid was the patriarch of the Shrobe family and a remarkable man. We’ll miss the speeches he gave at our family parties…his warmth, quick wit, and kindness.
Mark-Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God bless you all.
Sid was a kind and gentle man who always had a kind word when greeting you. May he rest in peace.
We should applaud Sid for his resilience, humor, generous time, understanding and support for others and for being a loyal friend to many. Now, he is with his Marcia. May he rest in peace for a life well-lived with dignity and patience. His parents should be proud of his military service, his work ethic for the state of Connecticut and dedication to family-an outstanding role model for 3 generations to follow. May Sid’s goodness remain with many. He will not be forgotten
Our sincere condolences to all your family, with special prayers for Mark and Jan and the children. We’ll keep you in mind and wish you peace.
With love from Marianne & John

Mark – my condolences on the passing of your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jan and the extended Margolis family during this trying time.
My deepest condolences to your family. It was always a pleasure when Sid came in for haircuts. He will be missed!
I’m so sad that Sid is gone, but know it was his time and he is now at peace with his beloved Marcia. Both Marcia and Sid were always a big part of my immediate family life. They were great friends with my parents. I have spoken with Sid every few months for years and will miss our little chats. And whenever I came east, Sid picked me up at the train station and we had at Brazios. Our family has lost a great man, but we will cherish our memories.
Mark- Karen and my deepest sympathy on the lost of your father. He was a great person and I enjoyed working for him back in the 80’s. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
So very sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Margolis. Thoughts and prayers with the family.
On behalf of the Rachlis Family, scattered from Atlantic to Pacific, I offer our deepest sympathy on Sid’s leaving us. His countenance was of cheer, his concern sincere and genuine, and his words of encouragement timely and hopeful. His life was a blessing for the family Shrobe, and I am sure to many others.
