He is also predeceased by his sister, Angelina (Elia) Biondi.
Steve built a life rich in family, friendships, laughter and compassion. He shared a bond of 55 years with his adoring wife, Linda Ann Elia. Steve was also a proud and doting grandfather to Maia, Sydney, Anthony, Alex, Emily and Ryan.
Steve spent over 50 years as a Certified Public Accountant in the New Haven area servicing his many clients and friends skillfully and loyally. He was an avid golfer and also a long time member of Wallingford Country Club, playing often and taking golf trips with all his golf buddies. In recent years, golf was replaced by weekly breakfasts and dinners with his group of loyal and loving friends at various spots in the area.
