One day in October 2016, I knew a person who helped me to know life in the USA. Me who was a little bit lost coming from France. She had her thick cap on her head, her big winter jacket and her cup of hot herbal tea in one hand.
This is how I met Suzanne for the first time and we have been working together for over a year. It is a privilege in my life to rub daily with a beautiful person of quality, gentle, cheerful, helpful and patient with me. Rare are the people who have marked my life strongly. Suzanne is one of those people, a beautiful soul and an invaluable chance. We quickly became friends and I believe it forever and ever. Suzanne we miss you. I miss your friendly hugs full of sincerity. Affectionately. Eric.
I’m sad to receive the news of Sue’s passing after a call from her wonderful son Tyler – who I must say, is an amazing young man full of grace, warmth, and gentle spirit – just like his mom. Sue and I first worked together in 1991 – some thirty years ago in my small catering business. We last worked together in 2019. I have been blessed by her friendship, support, and dedication in helping us all achieve our best. She was always cheery, conscientious, and supportive – whatever the challenges were. The patrons and guests to our events would comment “the nice young woman who served us.” Thank you Sue for being a such a vital member of our team – and for so long. More so, thank you for always answering the call. Thank you for the glorious tomatoes!
Let us all do the little things for our those we care for – as giving and creating smiles make for the best memories. Sue was so proud of tomatoes – she nurtured them, and us.
I will miss her very much. Peace, light, and love to her family.
My deepest condolences to the Vecchio family, sending prayers to all of you and for Sue. May you have peace in God’s arms!
I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
