Thaddeus P. Wysocki, Sr., 92, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford.  He was the beloved husband of 66 years to the late Frances Dabkewicz Wysocki who passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, January 30th, 2022.  Thaddeus was born in Meriden on January 2, 1930 and was the son of the late Wallace and Louise Maziarz Wysocki.  A graduate of St. Stanislaus Elementary School, Commercial High School, Boardman Trade School al in New Haven and later served his country faithfully in the US Army during the Korean War.  Ted worked as a Tool & Die Maker, having worked at Pratt & Whitney for many years. He was an avid golfer, but most of all he loved gardening, blueberry bushes, tomatoes, and planting seeds having read the seed catalogs over and over again.  Ted was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church Men’s Golf and helped run their annual golf tournament. Father of Thaddeus P. Wysocki, Jr. (Gail), Roberta Mezick (Daniel), Kenneth Wysocki, Andrew (Bill) Wysocki and Peter (Rita) Wysocki. Grandfather of Brian Mezick, Kayla (Erik) Havumaki, Leah and Kevin Mezick, Elizabeth (Michael) DiDomenico, Raymond, Amy and Jenna Wysocki. Great Grandfather of Clara and June Havumaki, Gianpaolo and Serafina DiDomenico. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his brothers Fred and Daniel Wysocki.

The visiting hours will be Friday morning, Feb. 4th from 9:30 to 11:30 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 57 Pond Hill Road, North Haven at 12 Noon.  Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
