Theodoor “Teddy” Keetell, 87, of Woodbridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 10, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital/St. Raphael campus with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 61 years to Winnifred Doeve-Keetell. Teddy was born in Bandung, Indonesia on January 29, 1931 and was the son of the late Theodoor and Eliah Arsih-Keetell. He was the former owner and operator of Teddy’s Auto Body in Woodbridge for over 40 years. Teddy enjoyed fishing, guitar playing, listening to music especially his jazz and Indonesian records. But most of all spending time with his family whom he loved unconditionally. Father of Shirley Keetell-Voolstra, David Keetell, Elizabeth Keetell-Forslund and husband Erik, Michelle Keetell-Studioso-Mallas and husband Mike, Theo Keetell and wife Stacey. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Monday between the hours of 4pm – 8pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Funeral service and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family

It is very sad I lost my last Uncle. My uncly was a good and beloved one. We shall miss him, but I know he is now with my Dad and my Mom and his whole family.
