To my Father….
It has only been 3 days
But we still hear you stirring in the next room..
You taught me so many things through the years and now I am to fill your boots the best way a young man can. I may not have been sharp at the tongue as you were always with me I am sharpest at the heart you rebuilt the day i arrived at your doorstep. You gave me so many years of happiness and many chapters you wrote in my life as you did yours…..I wish I could have told you this to your face …I wish to hold your hand one more time….soft, subtle but also cut edge man you were. I AM PROUD TO HAVE CALLED YOU MY FATHER , MY GUIDANCE , MY OTHER HALF OF GEM TO WHICH I CALL MY PARENTS…. I LOVE YOU DEARLY
I’m so sorry for your loss Loretta.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
