To Aunt Laura, Cousin Thomas and all the family, I am truly sorry for your loss. It is a loss felt by all who knew Uncle Tom. He lit up every room he ever entered. And as a young girl, he always made me feel treasured. I am who I am in some part because of who Uncle Tom encouraged me to be. I moved away but I always missed the warmth I found in your family, in our larger family. Sending love and comfort, Karen
