Tom Silengo, 68, of Venice, Florida (originally of North Haven, Connecticut), passed peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2018 surrounded by the love of family and friends after a 30 month battle with brain cancer.
Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 2-5pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday morning, April 16, 2018 at 10:00 in The Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford. Memorial donations may be made in Tom’s name to the Ronald McDonald House at https://rmhc-ctma.org/ or the Moffitt Cancer Center at www.moffitt.org/give/donate

I was so sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. I worked with him for many years and always enjoyed it! He was smart, funny, patient and kind. Rest in peace dear friend.
We were so sad to hear about the passing of our former next door neighbor and friend Tom Silengo He was a great person and the whole family agrees they were wonderful neighbors. So sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. We used to play tennis together at Choate. He was a good man with a great sense of humor. He will be missed.
