Trofomena Cimino Dauria, 99, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24th, 2023, at the Mary Wade Home, New Haven. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles A. Dauria. Trofomena was born in New Haven on June 22nd, 1923, and was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Pappalardo Cimino. She had worked as a seamstress for the former Robby-Len Swimwear of New Haven and was a devoted parishioner of St. Barnabas Church. Mother of Anthony (Julie) Dauria and the late Maryann and Wayne Mele. Grandmother of Chad (Raina) Dauria and Tori-Anne Dauria. Great-Grandmother of Christopher, Matthew and Alexander. Sister of Anthony Cimino and the late Albert, Andrew, Rose Cimino and Anna Marie Beretta. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the nurses and staff at the Mary Wade Home for all the excellent care and comfort they provided.
Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Friday morning, March 3rd at 10:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial. There will be no visiting hours and the interment will be privately held in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
To my beautiful Aunt-I will hold you to your promise that you will be my angel until we meet again-I enjoyed our times together and they will truly be missed.
