Van Thi Le, 80, of East Haven passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 16th, 2021 at Whitney Manor, Hamden. She was predeceased by her husband Cau Van Nguyen. Van was born in Da Lat, Vietnam on December 15th, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Le Khanh and Nguyễn Thi Trần. Van moved to the United States of America in 1996 and worked at HPI in Hamden, CT until her retirement. Van Le is survived by ten (10) children (Nguyen Thị Hồng Cuc, Nguyễn Huu Phuc, Nguyễn Thị Hồng Phương, Nguyễn Thị Hồng Mai, Nguyễn Thị Hồng Diep, Nguyễn Huu Duc, Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hanh, Nguyễn Thị Hồng Lan, Nguyễn Huu Tien, Nguyễn Thị Hồng Nhung), seventeen (17) grandchildren (Rebecca Nguyen, Michael Tran, Emily Duong, Minh Trinh, Tri Trinh, Kevin Duong, Henry Nguyen, Jimmy Nguyen and nine others in Vietnam)and six (6) great-grandchildren in Vietnam.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 20th, 2021 at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
