Victoria M. Fezza Tomaso, 98, of Cheshire, passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve December 24, 2020 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife and soul mate of the late Joseph P. Tomaso. Victoria was born in New Haven on May 21, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine Zito Fezza. She shared a special bond with each of her five siblings which lasted a lifetime.
Her daughters and loving sons-in-law were blessed to have a mother who led by example, lived a life selflessly devoted to family, and was always just a phone call away. Victoria will be remembered by family and friends as a strong and independent woman who radiated love and positivity, always had a smile on her face, and whose laughter was contagious. She was an inspiration to each of her five devoted granddaughters who will always carry a piece of her in their hearts. Their spouses were her grandsons who lovingly called her Gram. And the sun rose and set on the heads of her twelve great grandchildren who lovingly knew her as Nonni. Victoria was a wonderful cook of so many Italian foods and desserts which she loved sharing with her family. She crocheted afghans for her family, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader.

She is survived by a loving sister-in-law Louise Fezza, a loving cousin Nancy DeMartino, and so many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

To all of Vicky’s family we send our deepest sympathies, prayers and love. Ed’s cherished memories with Joe and Vicky go back to his earliest childhood days. He will always remember them both with his fondest memories.
Vicki was special: forgiving, loving and kind. With her passing ends an era that will always provide fond memories, especially of Quaranta and Espresso. Our deepest sympathies to Joanne and Maria and their families.
My condolences and love to Joanne, Maria, and Uncle AJ. Aunt Vic was a truly special woman and I’ll remember her for her kindness and positivity. I have great memories of fun childhood trips to her house with Grammy and Poppy and we never left hungry! It’s hard to see her go, as she lived an amazing life.
