Virginia M. Spahr, 80, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was born in New Haven on November 29, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Edward and Virginia Smith Spahr. Virginia had worked as an Administrative Assistant at Yale University for 35 years until her retirement and was a member of their Local #34. Virginia was a fan of the New York Yankees, enjoyed reading, eating pizza and having an ice-cold beer. She loved her cat Suki and most of all spending time with her family and friends whom she loved unconditionally. Virginia was a strong independent woman all her life and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Loving mother of Suzanne (Mark) Dagliere and Sarah (Mark) Morrone. Beloved grandmother of Vincent Celentano Jr.

Ginnie was a wonderful, loving friend for 50 years. Her laugh was infectious , her style impeccable, her loyalty irrefutable . I will miss her dreadfully and love her forever.
