Walter (Bud) Moore, 72 years old of Wallingford passed away on August 3, 2020 at his home. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Murphy Moore, also a step daughter Jessica Giammattei (Jerry), a step son Stephen Coughlin (Tara). Proud grandpa of Justin, Erin, Elizabeth, Patrick, Charles and Penelope. Predeceased by his parents John Moore and Mary Long Moore, a daughter Corrie Moore and seven siblings. He served his country faithfully in the US Navy during the Vietnam War as a Petty Officer. Member of American Legion Post #187. Prior to his retirement he consulted and worked in Patient Accounting for various healthcare establishments as well as authored and lectured in Patient Accounting.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service with full military honors on Monday morning, August 10th at 10:00 in the State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fisher House Foundation, 12300 Twinbrook Parkway Suite 410, Rockville, MD 20852.

Bud has gone to a place where there is no suffering, no pain, no fear of harm and no cursed virus.
