Ward “Paco” “Teddy” Howe, 81, of Wallingford, died peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.  Born on October 27, 1935, he worked for over 50 years as a union painter, and was a true artist with a paintbrush.  He was an avid bowler and golfer, and die-hard NASCAR and New York Giants fan.  His infectious smile, carefree spirit, and enthusiasm for family gatherings, Christmas Eve, and fireworks will be missed by many.  Ward is survived by his children and their spouses, Kim and Dan Wiedenmann of Wallingford, Alan and Anne Howe of Newington, Linda and Dan Ibarra of Jefferson, MD, and Patty and Vinny Lynch of Hamden; his grandchildren Ryan, Brendan, Nicole, Lauren, Kevin, and Collette, for each of whom his love and pride was boundless.  He is also survived by his dear friend Dorothy Gould, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

 A Memorial Service will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven, CT.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Ward’s name to Gaylord Specialty Healthcare at gaylorddevelopment@gaylord.org.
