William J. “Billy” Richardson III, 50, of Northford, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Georgette Donato Richardson. Father of Tanner Richardson. Billy was born in New Haven on March 19, 1968 and was the son of William J. Richardson Jr., and the late Betty Alexander Richardson. He had worked as a laborer at ETL Corporation and a member of the Laborer’s Local Union 455 for many years. Billy was a long-time parishioner of St. Monica’s Church. He enjoyed antiquing, fishing, cooking and was a lover of animals. Brother of Shiela (Mark) VanDeusen, Jeffrey Richardson and Todd (Ria) Richardson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Thursday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Parish at St. Monica Church, 1331 Middletown Avenue, Northford. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
