William D. Pesticci Jr., (Billy) 57, of North Haven, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Yale New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in New Haven on September 6, 1964 and was the son of the late William D. Pesticci Sr. and Judith Franco Arjavich. Billy had worked as an over the road truck driver for Upstaging where he transported band equipment for many headline band such as Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, The Eagles and Rolling Stones just to name a few. He later worked for Sherwood Trucking for many years. Billy was a member of the Teamsters Local #89. He enjoyed motorcycles, music, and playing the drums. William was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Rams. Brother of Frank (Debbie) Pesticci and Audra (Kenneth) Kaminsky. Uncle of Joseph Pesticci, Angela (Kasper) Mikunda, Kenneth Kaminsky Jr., and Kaitlyn Kaminsky. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The visiting hours will be on Wednesday, August 10th at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Thursday, August 11th at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.

Billy was an amazing person with the best personality. He was beyond talented and always had the best stories. He will forever be remembered and loved!

Devastating to loss such a sweet and kind person. I remember Billy as a little boy when I baby sat for him and Audra. I know Smokey will be there to greet him in heaven. With heavy hearts are thinking and praying for Audra and Frankie’s family and friends 🙏🏻♥️

Billy and have been friends for over 20 years. I just talked to him not king ago and I’m in total shock. We worked at upstaging and have a tight friendship and he will be missed by me 1000%. Rip Billy the kid, love Tammy ammy! Peace love and happiness my dear friend.

I never met Billy but he was a drummer and that makes us “brothers in arms”. I can only imagine the stories he could tell about his years on the road hauling for such famous bands! You were a key ingredient in their success bringing live performance to millions of people. Rock the house Billy! Peace
