William James Carbone, 30, of East Haven, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at his home. William was born in New Haven on August 27, 1987 and was the son of Geraldine F. Roche Carbone and the late Pasquale A. Carbone. He was a graduate of East Haven High School, served his country faithfully in the US Navy and was co-owner of Carbone Jewelers with his late father. William was a sports enthusiast being an avid fan of the Boston Bruins, New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. Brother of Jessica A. Carbone. Godson of Nora Dattilo. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Wednesday morning at 11:00. Family and friends may call from 9:00 until time of service. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to The Sister’s Project, PO Box 1643, Wallingford, CT 06492.
Geri and Jessica, of course there are no words, no actions or inactions that can ease your pain and your grief. No one can begin to imagine what you are going through unless they themselves have lost both a husband/dad and a son/brother in such a short period of time. I can only offer you my prayers and heartfelt sympathy. Maybe it helps in some small way knowing there are many friends and relatives who grieve with you. While I’m sure you are pretty mad at God right now, I still pray he will guide you and give you strength. I am so very sorry for your loss.
